THE PROBLEM
A leading packaging manufacturer was looking to invest in new machinery, and in order to be able to accommodate this equipment, required a new fibre and copper network to be installed throughout their manufacturing plant. Due to the specialist machinery being purchased, a specific CAT 6A network using Leviton was required for this project.

THE SOLUTION
FWD-IP’s project management team worked closely with the manufacturing plant to ensure the new network was designed to meet their exact needs, sourcing specific products for the install. To minimise disruption to the manufacturing plant, installs were carried out overnight when production lines were not running. As a result of the upgrade, the plant can now manage and monitor their machinery using this high-speed network, maximising efficiency and minimising any downtime on the production lines.
