A leading packaging manufacturer was experiencing a rise in theft at their Durham plant, and due to the failings of the existing CCTV system, were in need of a brand new system that would cover more extensive ground to help minimise the risks.
THE CHALLENGES
– Additional planning was required due to specific equipment requirements
-Working around production shifts overnight
– Some areas of the plant were still under construction with other works being carried out
THE SOLUTION
FWD-IP’s project management team worked closely with the manufacturer to design and install a new IP CCTV system that consisted of 30 cameras installed across the plant to ensure all areas were covered to ensure maximum protection of the equipment and stock.
